“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” – Bob Marley

Yesterday I spoke about the 4 negative things that happen once you start making a lot of money. I think it would be counterintuitive if I did not outline 4 positive things that happen as well.

Wealth and riches don’t only bring all stresses. Besides the obvious pros of buying whatever you want, investing in whatever you want, and living without worry, there are social things that having not only wealth but a wealth mindset brings.

Here they are.

Broke Mindset People Flee, Wealthy Mindset People Flock

This is one of the best things that could happen to you. Once you are wealthy, a plethora of people who are poor in mind and finances will flock and try to drain you. Once that does not work, there will be rare occasions where they will come back.

Those who are wealthy in mind will begin flocking to you because like attracts like. There are very few of us in a society that cares more about our financial futures, business, and freedom than social media, celebrity gossip, and wasteful habits. Because of this, when we find those who are like us, we run towards them and exchange ideas and goals. This is what we all long for, compatible and resourceful friendships.

More Of The World To Expose Yourself To

I am not referring to just taking vacations all year with a Pina Colada. What I mean is that by traveling to countries that are more developed and underdeveloped than yours, you will find what your country may be lacking and therefore you will find business opportunities. Like anything in life, sometimes you need motivation and inspiration to create the next big thing. Travelling does this for you. Not just resorts, but the inner cities. Embrace cultures in order to enhance your life.

Fake Friends Are EASILY Revealed

Yes, this is a positive. Once you are wealthy, you will realize how unnecessary it is to have fake friends around you.

Once friends realize that you are making good money, you will hear the fake friends make slick comments about your wealth and how you’re lucky or how you are doing illegal things to make your money. They will laugh when they say it as to make it seem like a joke but I promise you, they truly feel this way.

If they blatantly say they are slightly jealous of you, end that friendship. These things grow. Jealousy is a disease and it tends to be a terminal one. It grows more and more as they hang around you or hear about you. There have been many cases where close friends and family members of a celebrity or wealthy individual killed that person over jealousy. Don’t be the next one. It is better to be overly cautious than not cautious at all.

You Can Educate Those Willing To Learn

This is my favorite one because you are using what you have to help others. Of course, don’t try to teach those who don’t care to learn – you will be talking to a brick wall. Unfortunately, not everyone is made to be wealthy, and that is a reality.

For those willing to learn about wealth and how to take control of their finances, teach them. Invest in them with knowledge. The best feeling is not doing great in business but actually inspiring people directly or without your knowledge to build their own businesses and enjoy life to the fullest, instead of the rat race 9-5 until retirement.

So there you go. These are just a few of the pros of wealth but these are the ones that stick out to you. What pros do you think I missed on? Let me know in an email or below.

 Until next time,

Live Long and Prosperous.
